why the electric cars cant save really save the planet from global warming
(now dont think im dumb to say that yes im dumb but ..... )
so now the world is on an edge for the electric cars like the Tesla and many others which say they are
emission free yes they are emission free but they are not zero emission free cars cause they need to run on something right and they run on batteries which needs to be charged and they dont generate electricity or themselves so they needs to be charged right but they are charged just like its siblings
which depend on power grids for the energy which gets electricity from power stations right and they emmit some shit which damage the environment in different ways (climate change)
the ways in which electric cars are not not so ecofriendly (even though the carbon footprint of these cars are significantly less)
manufacturing : yeah every car in this world is manufacured by aluminum and a team of union scientists conducted research and found that the manufacturing of a single full sized tesla with a 75 KWH battery would be same as a internal combustion engine car . but we should also consider that they dont emit any carbon out as they are not burning any fossil fuels (just saying ) this eventually reduces the carbon footprint of electric cars.
batteries: well they dont run on air (no pun) they run on batteries which are lithium in origin and we should also consider how lithium effects environment, well most of dont know how harmfull it is (fun fact: lithium is the most lightest element on earth)
lithium is mined just as any other metal it is found near the salt faults where the water are scare the mining of lithium needs heavy amounts of water needs to taken from underground which depleets the local ground water levels and on top of that water contamination level is significantly is greater which results in greater threat to the local flora and fauna
but tesla is for rescue tesla stated that at the end of battery lifecycle they recycle almost 70% of used which sounds great.
and yeah they are the problems with electric cars but you may think what happens after the llifecycle of the car as the car is made of aluminum it can be recycled and if youre talking about the motors in the cars they are recyclable to no problemo Tesla is all covered.
the reason i wrote this post is that some of my friends started bicthing around saying theyre just a gimmick so wrote this and im not against electric cars and im a tesla fanboy!!!!!!!!!!!!
